Suggest committing the parties to specify the citizenship of the members


As the permission to register as members of parties for the nationals of countries other than Lithuania comes into force as of 1 January 2015, the Ministry of Justice (MJ) suggests that the lists of the parties submitted to the Ministry should also necessarily specify the citizenship of their members. Currently the lists of members of political parties submitted to the Ministry must include the name and surname of the member of the political party as well as their personal number and their address of place of residence.
